VELLETRI
There is debate as to whether Velletri has Volscian or Etruscan origins.
All writers and geographers place Velletri in Ancient Lazio, and say that it was not only a noble, glorious and powerful city, but above all very ancient.
At the time of Romulus, when Rome was still a simple conglomeration of people, Velletri was already a small town.
It is said, in fact, that when Rome arose, Velletri was large enough to be able to wage war against it.
The splendid territory of Velletri includes areas rich in naturalistic treasures.
